After the Navy had its way with me for 10 years, I decided to call it quits. Maybe I was disenfranchised because I worked in the Pentagon and made trips to the White House and found out how our government really works (not very well). Maybe it was because 99% of what I did was Top Secret and I couldn’t even talk about what I did with my wife. Whatever it was, after lurching around the depths of enemy waters on a submarine for a good amount of time, I decided it was time to call it quits and stop being an absentee father.

So I looked for some way to make money online. I started with Ebay. What a fiasco. I learned that anything I actually wanted to sell, which was mainly consumer electronics, had zero or negative profit margin. I then started up my own retail store. Jackpot.

As a true businessman, I decided to diversify and start other businesses. I started a network marketing business and a few others. I am now hooked, and I love starting up online companies in niches that I don’t care anything about. It’s the marketing I love. It’s the thrill of making myself successful, not anyone else.

Now here I stand, 2 years later, and I thought I’d take a crack at the internet marketing niche. My goal, if no other, is to bring good, solid experience and advice to other businesspeople, no matter what their business is, on a personal level they so desperately need.
